Pistachio Nut
My 13 lb, shih-tzu poodle mix ate 1 pistachio nut? No shell, it fell and my dog chewed it and didn’t just eat.?
The brand is Santa Barbara Pistachio Company. He only ate 1 he is 13 lbs, he has eaten chocolate,grass, a bunch of others, just wondering if he’ll be ok.

Pistachio nuts are not toxic to dogs like other nuts, like Macadamia Nuts. However, they are high in fat so it’s best not to let your dogs eat them.
It is best to just avoid all nuts with your dogs, except for peanut butter. You can give them small amounts. Plus, it’s great to use when you have to give your dog pills. You can hide the pill in the peanut butter and they will lick it right up.
